MenoPro App Helps Physicians Decide Menopause Treatment and Hormone Therapy

At the 2014 North American Menopause Society (NAMS) Meeting, the NAMS organization launched their first app, MenoPro. This is the first app to incorporate the current NAMS menopause algorithm which was published in the Journal of the North American Menopause Society in 2014. This algorithm was derived from NAMS 2012 position statement and 2013 clinician’s guide to menopause treatment.

According to new data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the number of abortions in America is at its lowest point since 1973. The agency recorded 730,322 abortions in 2011, which represents a 5% drop since 2010. The CDC also looked at trends in the data between 2002 and 2011, and found that every measure for abortion — total number, rate and ratio — reached their lowest levels in 2011.
